Product Reviews

Name: Review:
The LG 55-inch was an improvement over our old model, but I have to say we were a bit concerned about its performance after being stuck on 4K resolution for several years. We had tried various solutions to improve its picture quality, but it took some time and patience to get it sorted out.

Once the setup process was complete, however, everything seemed to work like a charm. It's been a huge game-changer in our home entertainment system.

The picture is simply stunning - bright, crisp, and razor-sharp, with perfect colour accuracy. The 4K upscaling is also impressive, making even non-HD channels look almost HD. What's more, it does this without sacrificing any detail or clarity.

One thing that might surprise you is the sound quality - we've had a few reviews that suggest otherwise, but in our experience, it's been spot on. In fact, it's one of the best-sounding TVs I've ever listened to.

We're happy with our purchase and would definitely recommend this TV to anyone looking for a great value for money.

I purchased a TV from this retailer which is generally considered a good quality Samsung product, and I was pleased with how it performed.

One thing that struck me as particularly egregious was the lack of extended warranty protection offered by Samsung when purchasing from online retailers like this one. It's simply not something they offer to their other customers or partners. As someone who has been loyal to Samsung and previously shelled out thousands of pounds for various devices, I've always relied on the 5-year guarantee provided through Samsung's own channels.

When trying to register my purchase with Samsung for a 5-year warranty, it was clear that they didn't intend to honor the offer. The only response I received from them was that they were concerned about the online retailer purchasing the TV, which seemed like an unusual reason to decline an extended warranty application.

I did try to get in touch with customer service regarding this issue, but my efforts were met with a lack of assistance - they simply asked if I wanted to return the TV and then had Samsung reject the claim. This was a purchase made for my mother's comfort, who relies on peace of mind that comes from a guaranteed 5-year warranty.

I'm afraid this experience has left me with little choice but to avoid purchasing any more Samsung products through online retailers in the future - not just because it will affect their financials, but also due to the poor customer service I received.

It's only been five days since I got my new TV, and I'm pleased with how it's performing overall. The picture quality is indeed excellent, and the built-in speakers are satisfactory for a casual viewing experience. Having access to so many apps on this TV has made some of its shortcomings more apparent - in particular, I find that most features feel pointless to me. Despite having invested time playing Xbox games with my new console, navigating the interface has proven to be a frustrating task. Not being able to link my XBox controller directly to the TV is also a major issue for me. The remote control itself has some drawbacks - it's too small and difficult to handle in one hand. The audio quality, on the other hand, is satisfactory if I'm using external speakers, but anything with a built-in feature can be frustrating due to its lack of clarity when muted.
